Doonde is the innovative GPS tracking service developed by Barcelona based Llacuna Innova. It was introduced to the market before GPS technology was popular in Spain. Initially, the focus was directed towards commercial transportation, but later it evolved into pet tracking, sportsmen and people in need of special attention.
The website’s goal was to acquire new clients, while striving to offer its registered users a comfortable and efficient user experience.
On the homepage, the product was explained and a slideshow was implemented to illustrate several example situations in which Doonde renders its value. The login box in the header provided access to a private zone where users found a map and a control panel. The control panel allows them to register, manage and follow their targets. For the application interface, a set of icons was designed.
Users could seek help in the Doonde forum where professionals and other users were available. In the online store tracking devices and related products are sold.
- Analyse and inventory of the company and tracking tool

Beyond the website, I designed the Doonde logo.
Based in Barcelona and working in the cloud, I love international flavoured collaborations. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, German and French, like to travel and am curious about different cultures. Your project can be discussed in your office enjoying a cup of tea or we can set up a Skype call. There's always a way to communicate!
In 1998, I earned my bachelors in graphic design in Breda, The Netherlands. Just as the internet bubble formed, I moved to Spain and eagerly studied web design and interfaces on my own. Now, I combine design with teaching, as I love to share my knowledge with students and clients alike. A full work history can be found at MissPixel’s Linkedin profile.
The joy of work is in the balance: organising and taking care of customers in the user experience field, mathematical challenges in HTML coding and composing bright colourful palettes on screen and paper.
These three perspectives harmoniously come together into one goal: making people happy with useful and beautiful designs. Boy, do I love my job!
