Webprojectmanager.nl

Launch: 2010
Client: Marie Claire de Haas
www.webprojectmanager.nl

I made this website for a talented freelance web project manager Marie Claire de Haas. After a long and detailed conversation I started to inventory her business activities, targets, etc. to help define the website’s objective: attract new clients who were drawn to their various projects and create dynamic, engaging image of the overall company.

I then designed the information architecture, while both the web structure and content was created to mimic her goals. The key page is the portfolio, where potential clients can relate to the company’s style, image and potential.

The graphic user interface was focussed specially on human interaction. With a photographer and client, I reviewed several office situations determining the best way to create images that highlighted relevant pages; which resulted in customized photos using the web project manager as the model. This not only personalised the website, but gave it a familiar look and feel.

This website was built manually, without CMS.

Besides the website, I designed the Webprojectmanager.nl logo and stationary.

‘I had the pleasure to hire Esther for two projects: Corporate design and Website creation. The result can be found on: www.webprojectmanager.nl. Although we are both located in another country the project went very smooth. Esther has many skills which complement each other and which result in a full service: logo and website design, accessibility skills, SEO knowledge, html development skills, eye for detail and also the suggestions for improving copy were very useful! Besides these professional skills Esther has a good sense of humor and sparkling personality which make Esther highly recommended.’ − Marie-Claire de Haas, webprojectmanager.nl

About MissPixel

Global entrepreneur

Based in Barcelona and working in the cloud, I love international flavoured collaborations. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, German and French, like to travel and am curious about different cultures. Your project can be discussed in your office enjoying a cup of tea or we can set up a Skype call. There's always a way to communicate!

Skills

In 1998, I earned my bachelors in graphic design in Breda, The Netherlands. Just as the internet bubble formed, I moved to Spain and eagerly studied web design and interfaces on my own. Now, I combine design with teaching, as I love to share my knowledge with students and clients alike. A full work history can be found at MissPixel’s Linkedin profile.

Balance

The joy of work is in the balance: organising and taking care of customers in the user experience field, mathematical challenges in HTML coding and composing bright colourful palettes on screen and paper.
These three perspectives harmoniously come together into one goal: making people happy with useful and beautiful designs. Boy, do I love my job!
